Our Art & Craft Programme introduces our children to a wide variety of art media and techniques, enhancing their appreciation for art and honing their artistic skills in multiple disciplines. Through Art & Craft, we achieve more than art appreciation and mastery. Similar to our learning journeys, our programme is centred on specially selected themes where we develop different areas of our children to achieve holistic development.
A glimpse of what we've done
An understanding of color, toning and shapes was an essential part of our programme in enhancing their art appreciation and mastery. Other than that, we've also integrated scientific knowledge into our arts programme covering the life cycle, seasonal changes and our solar system.
Our children have also designed planners for self-reflection as well as their aspirations for the new year, helping them to set clearer goals for themselves. To add color to their daily lives and inculcate a sense of appreciation, our children have designed cards, gifts and decorations on events such as New Year's Day, National Day, Fathers' Day and Mothers' Day.
